Installation & usage
* For most modern mobile phones. ARinSpace is constantly evolving and is therefore always in Beta. Not suitable for geolocation.
1 – Installing the plugin in WordPress
We assume that you have basic knowledge of WordPress and know the basic functions of WordPress. If you are not familiar with WordPress, please read the documentation at: WordPress.org. We always advise you to make a backup.
- Download the Plugin ARinSpace (zip-document)
- Go to the WordPress plugin page and upload the plugin
- If you update: please deactivate an remove the previous ARinSpace plugin
- Once installed go to the ARinSpace button at the sidebar
- Click the button get your API-key
(If you don’t have one; create a free account). Order your Free Plan here.
- After you have logged in you will receive your (free) API which you can view and edit your workspace/environment

2 – Editing the workspace
We assume that you have basic knowledge of image editing applications, image optimizing applications and know the basics of pixelized files. If you are not familiar with this, please refer to the manual of that specific image editing application (eg. Adobe Photoshop).
- Once you have installed your plugin you can edit your model
- Create an .png8 > image size at 72 dpi
(We always suggest to keep data at a minimum!) - Drag and drop your artwork (and name the poster)
- The artwork appears on a plane in your workspace
- Publish when ready
The QR code is generated automatically

A link and QR code are generated. If you click ‘Download‘ the QR appears in your Media library in WordPress
3 – Interface
We assume that you have basic knowledge of working in 3D space.
Use the keyboard keys (e.g. opt/ctrl/cmd) to adjust your view.
This section discusses various functionalities. Depending on your plan, some items may be disabled or not visible. For an overview of functionalities click here. The FREE plan allows you to upload and publish 1 image only.
- Upload your artwork on a plane. It appears in the 3D environment
- Name your artwork
- Change the size, position, rotation and/or opacity
- Save the poster
- You can duplicate a poster (with contents and settings)
- You can delete the poster(plane)
- When adding a new poster the you have an option between an ground or a vertical plane
- After you have saved your artwork -always- publish your model
• Create, duplicate, rotate, scale and position your artwork
• Your .png8 transparency files are included and run automatically
4 – Interactivity
You can add basic interactivity to your web.AR by adding a button that leads to your domain name. This button appears at the bottom of your screen. One button representing one address for all panels in your workspace.
- Activate or deactivate a button
- Create your own link
- Define an even background color
- Add an image file (e.g. your logo)
- Select a font (limited) and font size
- Distribution over 2 lines
• The artwork appears in your workspace

- Works with a stable internet connection 4G+
- Works best with good (day) light – 1000 lux+
- Works faster with a recognizable ground surface eg. contrasting floors / surrounding
- Design to place on flat surfaces only (due speed of data)
